How to Prepare Hōjicha

Sift into your bowl.

2. Add water

Add hot water (around 180°F).

3. Whisk

Whisk gently until smooth.

A light layer of foam is natural.

4. Adjust

Add more water for a lighter cup.

For a softer finish, a touch of milk.

Enjoy warm, or over ice.
